FTS The FTS folding door with electric door opener and rigid door panels. The door opens 90 degrees in one direction. It is a very stable and functional industrial door for use in extremely demanding conditions and generally applied in industrial and commercial buildings. Automatic operation of the door is desirable in intensive traffic situations or in cases where the vehicle and or load may not come into contact with the door, Specification/construction The FTS electric folding door with rigid door panels consists of one or two door leaves, a stable upper beam, on which the electric drive unit is mounted. Each door leaf is built up of two frames made of tubular sections. These frames can be infilled with various materials. On the closing side the door leaves are connected to the guide rail of the upper beam by means of a sliding trolley. This heavy-duty trolley has PVC guide rollers, thus ensuring extremely smooth and low-noise operation of the door.

Materials
The upper beam and brackets are made of steel. The framework of the door leaves is built up of HOP sections, aluminium clamping strips and rubber gaskets The infill panels can be chosen from :

Operation The folding door is opened by means of compressed air cylinders mounted above the door opening or in the case of electric operation by a single electric motor.
Drive The folding door is opened by means of an electric drive unit with gearbox, which is mounted centrally above the door opening.
Control / Operation

Safety In the event of emergency the door can be opened manually by releasing the motor brake. To this end a release mechanism is mounted within arm's reach on one side of the door. The closing edge of the door is provided with a self-testing safety edge.
Technical specifications
Mounting structure requirements and connection Power supply in the form of a main switch, must be present within a radius of 1 metre from the control box.
