Collapsable security grilles or lattice gates have for some time been recognised as an effective deterrent against unwanted intruders. When fitted inside windows or doors, their open lattice work lets in light, external views and are suitable for both commercial and domestic situations. We offer a varity of models with different security ratings.

CX FITTING CONFIGURATIONS

There are a number of ways that the CX grille can be fitted into an opening.

Reveal fitted: The grille can be secured in the reveal of the window.

Face fitted: The grille is mounted to the surface of the opening.

This will determine where the fixing holes are to be positioned on the grille and to ensure that the fixing holes are in the correct position, this must be specified at the time an order is placed.

To accommodate all openings a combination of reveal and face fitting can be used. In the third illustration the top track is fitted to the reveal and the bottom track is fitted to the face.

Centre stops are fitted on double grilles to ensure that the grille remains equal either side of the lock post when closed.

The red arrows on the illustration show where the grille is fixed to the opening, for reveal and face fitting options.
