A DOOR THAT IS CHEAP TO BUY OR CHEAP TO OWN?

We start by asking this question, as doors are usually characterised as a product that can have high after sales costs. The difference between choosing the right or wrong type of door can be a question of thousands of pounds per door per year. These costs for energy, repairs and spare parts and also include environmental costs through unnecessary road transport due to service requirements and the door's short life span. Doors are like cars. The car with the lowest price tag might not be the cheapest to own. However, high after sales costs can be avoided by making the right choice Guardian Industrial Doors has the expertise and the resources to assess your needs, and based on these we will calculate the type of door that offers you the best economic option. Now and in the future.

COMPLETE RANGE

We offer a complete range of doors from several different suppliers . This means we are not governed by our own range and thereby not forced to suggest a specific type of door. We can help you to choose the solution that meets your requirements. Irrespective of whether you will own the door yourself or whether you are solely answering for the construction work, we have just the model for you. Both with regard to functionality and price. Naturally we prefer to sell the best quality, which is more economic in the long term, but we can also provide budget priced doors if your project is sensitive to price.

 AT A GLANCE

These pages give just a glance of our products and the procedures we use to arrive at The Right Door. Contact us and we will help you in your choice. It is important that the choice of door is made as early as possible in the building process and that those who will use - and in the end will pay to use the door - have their say.

Twenty years for Guardian

20th ANNIVERSARY FOR GUARDIAN

1999 will be viewed by many as merely the run up to the 'Big One' The Millennium Year 2000.

For Ron and Elizabeth Everitt, 1999 will however be their year, with not only noteworthy family anniversaries, birthdays and academic achievements but the 20th anniversary of Guardian Industrial Doors, giving cause for celebration throughout.

1979 - Amidst the chaos, gripping the Country in a year remembered for the infamous winter of discontent, which saw rubbish piling up in our streets, food and petrol supplies disrupted by a national lorry drivers strike over a 25% pay claim, even our dead not being buried, what couple in their right minds would have decided to set up in business?

Well with limited resources but bags of enthusiasm that is exactly what Ron and Elizabeth Everitt did and from the opulent surroundings of a spare bedroom and garden shed, Guardian Industrial Doors evolved.

As they today prepare to move from their factory unit on Ross Hill Industrial Park in Southend, to their new bigger purpose built factory with a modern manufacturing facility in February 1999. Ron and Elizabeth look back with just pride on their achievements and on the milestones surpassed along the way to establishing Guardian to it's present day standing at the fore front of Industrial door manufacture and installation.

In the face of national and local competition Guardian continues to keep pace with modern trends, developing their technical and engineering expertise to meet the up to the minute needs of their wide client base.

It is their reputation for innovation, quality, reliability and personal service that has earned Guardian the deserved acclaim which has rewarded them with projects on the Millennium Dome, the giant retail park development at Bluewater Park and Euro-Disney, not to mention special assignments in various Foreign Embassies.

Guardian's International expanse has seen their doors and security grilles installed as far away as Antarctica, and whilst MD Ron Everitt is proud of his Company's International status, he takes as much gratification from the projection of the image of Guardian as a big company offering a localised personal service.

It is fitting that during this auspicious year Ron Everitt moves into office as Affiliated Chairman of the D.S.M.A.

1999 sees Guardian Industrial Doors entering a new decade. Within the Everitt household, it also sees both Ron and Elizabeth's 50th Birthday, their son's 21st birthday and their daughter's University Graduation. Phew! Who says the Millennium 2000 year is the 'Big One'.
